Hi there! I’m here on behalf of #Traditional-Artists to make sure you get all the feedback this piece has received at our last Critique Night!

I hope it is helpful and you can use it for your future works! :aww:

“This is an interesting piece! I kinda like the collage effect and the colors... This reminds me of an Egyptian wall where the little pictures tell a story. I think the artists shows skill in their abiilty to portray faces put emotions in their work.”

“It is good to go crazy sometimes :). Just really explore the arts. Here the artist has done just that. I wish I could understand the texts. Ancira could maybe add the translations to the artist's comments (?) . There is a good use of colours. Maybe a feeling of something Native American or Mayan? The watercolours of the background gives this piece a nice aged feeling, like of an old map or something. Even with all the craziness it is a rather balanced entirety.”

“This is lovely! One can definitely see the fun you had making this, and that's the best thing that can happen. I love the colour scheme that lend the piece a somewhat indigenous feeling, but that you contrasted it with the formal dress and city silhouettes. I think you might have tried to keep the bottom face a bit lighter and all over enhance that contrast, but that's merely details. Compositionwise I feel that the vertical line does distract from the right hand side where the interesting things are happening, maybe if you broke it down so that the top part hits the horizontal line at some other point then the eye wouldn't be let right through the picture (I hope I am making sense here). You are stayed at the junction with the profile so that especially the bottom right part doesn't get as much attention as it could be. Also easing the stark contrast between a more or less empty top part and textured bottom part might help to balance the picture better. But I like all those crazy forms you used there, they are so dynamic and let the whole picture vibrate with life! I also love the mixed-in text - you have a lot of good ideas here, play with them!”
